What’s The Difference Between Clicks (Website Visitors) & Leads (Opt-Ins)? Follow
A “CLICK” (also known as a website visitor) is someone who visits one of your web-pages.
Just because someone lands on one of your web-pages, does NOT mean they’re going to opt-into your list or purchase anything.
Should someone who lands on your web-page (opt-in page) choose to enter their email address in the field provided, they then become a lead (also known as an “Opt-in” or ‘Subscriber’). This means that the person is now on your email list.
If, for example, you get 100 clicks/visitors to your opt-in page, maybe between 15% to 30% MIGHT opt-in and become a lead.
Therefore, when you’re ordering traffic, you’re ordering clicks/visitors, NOT leads/opt-ins.
If you try to order “leads/opt-ins” then in all likelihood you’re going to get fake traffic and the people on your list won’t be real.
We want people to make a conscious decision to opt-into your list and become a lead. So we order CLICKS/VISITORS, and then we understand that a certain percentage of them will opt-in and become leads.
