Global Text Snippets are bits of text that you create in order to easily update multiple autoresponder messages at once, without forcing you to edit each message one at a time.
Let’s say that all of the follow-up messages inside of your AWeber look kind of like this
You could go into each message and insert your actual affiliate ID at the end of every link so that you get credit for whatever is being sold/offered to the person reading your email. But that would take forever!
So, we use what are called “Global Text Snippets”
This allows us to put your ESE username in one field, and then AUTOMATICALLY update every single follow-up message inside of AWeber with the push of a button.
(This way you get credit for any affiliate sales your system makes for you)
This is important because inside of your eighty Easiest System Ever Follow Up or Campaign Messages there are links to your bridge pages which are connected to your affiliate products.
For Easiest System Ever purposes, the Global Snippet is your ‘Easiest System Ever username/ID’.
The bridge page links require your Easiest System Ever username to be inserted into your AWeber Campaign messages in order for your affiliate links to work.
Here's how to add it to your AWeber….
First, You need to find your ESE username. In case you don’t already know it, simply log into your ESE Account and your username is next to the word Logout.
Now you log into AWeber and select the list that you created for ESE.
Hover over List Options and then Click List Settings.
Select Personalize Your List as shown below:
Scroll down to the bottom of the page until you see Global Text Snippets.
To add your Global Text Snippet, simply type the Snippet Name as ese id, and Snippet Text will be YOUR ese username. Below is an example using demo123 to demonstrate. Once you've entered the correct information, click add and then Save all Settings.
If you need to edit, hover over the top right-hand corner of the snippet text box to edit as shown below.
Be sure to Save all Settings when done.
