Why Am I Getting A White Screen That Says "error" :null When I Test My Account By Opting-In To My List? Follow
If you see a blank screen and an error that looks like this:
This error usually appears when your ESE username is not in the “global snippet ID” section, within your AWeber account.
To fix this;
First, you need to find your ESE username. If you don’t already know it, look inside your ESE Account and your username is next to the word “Logout.”
Next, sign into your Aweber Account.
Once inside, select the dropdown box called “List” and then choose the appropriate list name (see below).
In the event that we completed your set up, your list name should look something like one of these, depending on your niche.

Once you’ve located and selected your list, your next step will be to ‘hover’ your mouse over List Options. Then select ‘List Settings’ from the dropdown.
In your AWeber account under List Settings the Global text snippet can be added at the bottom of the ‘Personalize Your List’ page.
While viewing Personal List Settings, scroll down to Global Text Snippets.
Enter ese id into the Snippet Name and your ESE username into the Snippet Text and click Add. Please make sure to add the text name exactly as you see it here and do not accidentally add any spaces before or after your username.
Once you see this new section you created, click on Save All Settings.
Once this is complete…. Retest your ESE funnel to be sure you are not receiving that error anymore.

- Click on the “HELP” bubble in the lower right-hand corner of your screen.
- Type in the word "Contact", then hit Enter.
- Click on the blue button in the lower right hand corner that says "Contact Us".
